Congratulations are in order for Luke Cook, you guys, because the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star just announced that he’s going to be a father! Yep, the actor’s fiancé, Kara Wilson, is pregnant and expecting their first child, and fans couldn’t be more excited for them.
“We’re going to have a little baby! A little baby boy. And we’re very excited and a little bit scared but mostly very excited!” the 33-year-old — known for his role as Lucifer Morningstar on the fan-favorite Netflix series — captioned a sweet shot on Instagram of himself cradling Kara’s growing baby bump. “The day we found out Kara was pregnant it was raining in L.A. and the world was going into a frenzied lockdown. I think we both felt a bit scared about what kind of big mean pandemic ridden world we were bringing a child into. But… despite all the crap, all the nonsense, all the mean people, all the people who eat with their mouth open, all the people who stand too close when they talk, all who don’t indicate when they drive… Life is good. So d**n right we’re bringing a baby into this world! And I will personally see to it and that he’s not mean, and he certainly WILL NOT eat with his mouth open. That is a guarantee.”
Kara, who is a stylist, reposted the pic to her own account, writing, “My beautiful Son. Growing you has been nothing short of a dream. Carrying you is something I’ve pictured myself doing for what feels like my whole life so to be able to feel you now is a miracle that brings tears to my eyes.”
“The world you’re coming in to is far from perfect and sometimes it’s scary, challenging and awful but a lot of the time it’s so good you want to cry — like the way it feels to be wrapped in your dads arms (you’re going to love him),” she continued. “I can’t wait for you to feel how powerful love is, to dip your little toes in the ocean, to laugh till you pee yourself, to feel the weight of grandmas hugs and the ferocity of daddy’s endless kisses. There is so much beauty that awaits you and I can’t wait to watch you experience it all. I’ll forever be grateful that you chose us to be mum and dad. And to my beautiful husband, thank you for making me a mum and for being so excited to start this journey with me. I can’t wait to watch you be a father to our little boy. I hope he’s not as huge as you. I love you both immensely.”
For those who missed it, the pair first made their love Instagram official in June 2019 and since then, they have been total couple goals! They announced their engagement six month later — in December 2019. Congrats to the parents-to-be!
