Jake Paul has been causing quite a stir this week, as the social media star turned actor has parted ways with Disney Channel in the midst of filming Season 2 of the fan-fave comedy series Bizzardvark. While some were surprised to see him leave the network, others figured it was just a matter of time until Jake left the house of mouse – you know, considering the fact that he has been making headlines for terrorizing his neighbors, forcefully shoving Tessa Brooks and cheating on his ex Alissa Violet with multiple girls.
So yeah, we think even Jake would admit all of this is not really in line with the Disney Channel image. Now that he's all done with the children's channel, he has joined Loton Corp’s LiveXLive Studios – alongside web stars King Bach and Amanda Cerny. As a contributing social editor, Jake will work with the team to create comedy and music content similar to what we're used to seeing him produce.
Considering all the good and bad attention surrounding Jake, it is safe to say people have pretty strong opinions about him. A handful of his ~former~ fellow Disney Channel stars are known to sing his praises, while other celebrities are just downright irked by him. Whatever the majority opinion of him is, one thing is for sure – people have v strong feelings about the "everyday bro" who lost his Disney Channel flow, Jake Paul.
Jenna Ortega
As a fellow member of the Disney Channel fam, Jenna seems to be a supporter of Jake. In fact, Jake even helped the Stuck in the Middle leading lady celebrate her siblings' birthdays by welcoming them into the Team 10 house for a surprise.
Jenna wrote alongside the video she posted to Instagram, "Thanks @jakepaul for helping me surprise my brother, sister and our friend today with a trip to the Team 10 House for their birthday! They said it was their best birthday ever! #disneyfam #imagoodsister #team10 ?❤️?."
Jace Norman
The Nickelodeon actor weighed in on all the Jake drama by throwing in his two cents on Twitter. Doesn't look like Jace Norman isn't much of a fan.
Ethan Wacker
Jake's former Bizaardvark co-star Ethan Wacker truly looks up to Jake as a role model and actually considered him his bestie on set. When news broke that Jake would be leaving the show, it legit crushed Ethan so much that he shared a super emotional video on social media to share his thoughts.
Seth Rogen
After Jake posted a video explaining why he left Disney to pursue more mature projects, legendary actor Seth Rogen took to Twitter to totally bash him.
"I personally pledge to not contribute to him getting those adult acting roles," he wrote.
The Dolan Twins
Grayson and Ethan Dolan go way back with Jake, as they all got their start on Vine and have collaborated on videos quite a bit. Even though Ethan and Grayson aren't in Team 10, they clearly all love each other.
Just recently, the three guys shared a particularly friendly moment in the foam pit at the Dolan Twins warehouse.
Spencer Pratt
Reality TV star Spencer Pratt, known for being the villain on MTV's The Hills, sees himself in Jake – considering all the hate they both get in the spotlight. However, Spencer seems to be a little bit jealous of the viral news clip that went around.
“This is definitely the evolution of the fame I was going for,” Spencer said in an interview. “When I saw the clip, I was definitely jealous.”
