The social media clap back queen Chrissy Teigen just stood up for Taylor Swift. On Tuesday, December 10, the model went viral after she called out a man for posting about the singer’s chances of having children.
It all started when he posted a tweet about the 29-year-old’s age and made a comment about her fertility. He implied that because the superstar turns 30 years old on Friday, December 13, she should have kids before it’s too late.
“I can’t believe Taylor Swift is about to turn 30 — she still looks so young!” the Twitter user wrote. “I hope she thinks about having kids before it’s too late! She’d be a fun mom.”
Chrissy was quick to respond. She quote tweeted the message, adding, “Uhhhh you’re a f**kin weird a**.”
Aside from Chrissy, the statement also didn’t sit well with Taylor’s huge fanbase. The Lover singer’s fans responded to the tweet and called out the man for being “creepy,” “disgusting” and “weird.”
“This is weird and bad and you are weird and bad,” one fan wrote with another adding, “What inspired you to purposely come on here and actually type this out to tweet it. What is wrong with you.”
As fans know, Taylor previously addressed the pressure of having kids back in May 2019. During a sit-down interview with Germany’s Deutsche Presse-Agentur, the singer was asked if her upcoming birthday would be a turning point in her life and if she was ready to have kids with her long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn any time soon.
“I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30. So I’m not going to answer that question now,” she told the reporter before expressing her excitement about the new decade of life and leaving the stress and anxiety of her 20s behind.
