Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas' relationship is a thing of the past but in a new video clip, she remembers exactly when she fell in love with him in real life and it's during a Camp Rock scene. No really, we can't make this stuff up. Demi fell hard for Joe and we're not sure he even realized it was happening. On second thought, he definitely didn't realize because they were literally in the middle of a scene and she remembers it perfectly. She even goes so far to say that she wasn't acting, it was all how she really felt!
OKAY THEN. Now that a huge wave of nostalgia has completely swept us off of our feet, let's talk about what Demi actually said when she watched old scenes from her Camp Rock Disney Channel days. Looking at herself, Demi said, "Oh my god wait, this moment, I frickin' fell in love with him…in real life." Her friend then said, "You're a good actress too, actually." And Demi's response is everything. She said, "Thanks. I wasn't acting much…We had our first kiss on camera."
The video cuts to a scene from Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam where Demi and Joe are actually about to kiss and she literally lights up. Demi said, "Oh, but this one was good. This is it." She clarifies that the two only dated for, "like a month or two." LOL! She does admit though that she had a crush on him literally the entire time that they were filming the movies. Poor girl had to wait until the second film to get her kiss!
This is too much. Demi and Joe were #GOALS during these days. But, that was so long ago and fans are speculating that Demi actually has frickin' fallen in love with another Jonas brother – Nick Jonas to be exact. She alluded to it when she was explaining the inspiration behind her new song, "Ruin the Friendship" which has references to Nick – like his affinity for cigars.
She said, "I was frustrated with a certain situation and I was like, 'You know what, I'm just going to write about it.' And so I did and sent [the songs] to that person, and that was…Interesting. Anytime you send a song about the person, to the person—it's ballsy. It's like, 'Hey! Here's my feelings for you!'…They knew [about my feelings], but neither of us had acknowledged [them] before. And then it turned out that person had written a song about me, and we exchanged song." Hmmm…this was the most she has spoken about the song and who it's really about. Ever since this interview, she's laughed off questions.
So, it's not completely confirmed. But, even though Demi may or may not be head over heels for Nick today, it's the Camp Rock scenes and falling in love with Joe that has us yearning for those much more simpler times. Jemi 4eva.
