Hey Emma Chamberlain fans, you might want to prepare yourselves because the member of the Sister Squad just announced that she’s starting her very own podcast! That’s right, we’re about to get a ton of new content from one of our favorite YouTube stars, and lucky for you guys, we’ve got all the deets!
So get this — the podcast is called “Stupid Genius with Emma Chamberlain,” and you may wanna mark your calendars because it starts on Thursday, April 11. After that, there will be a new video every Thursday! Yep, that means we’re only a few days away, and we’re seriously freaking out!
But what will it be about, you ask? Well, Emma explained what will go down in trailer for the new podcast, which you can listen to here.
“I’ve wanted to do a podcast for literally probably over a year, and here we are. Ever since I realized that I don’t know how to shut up I knew that I needed to have a podcast at some point in my life. And now’s the time,” she explained. “We’re going to take a question that most people wouldn’t know the answer to and then we’re going to hypothesize answers together in a fun-loving and hopefully funny way.”
Some of the questions she’s going to tackle are… Why do onions make us cry? Why are humans ticklish? Why do dogs lick humans?
“I get three guesses to try to figure out the answer to the question,” she continued. “I think it’s like, first answer is a joke because I’m just trying to get out my anger about however the topic triggers me. Second answer is me actually being like, ‘OK, let’s be smart. Let’s show why we got an A+ in chemistry and biology and why I can do this podcast.’ And third answer is me pulling something out of my a– and it being right. That’s what I feel like this podcast is at this point.”
OMG. How epic does that sound? We’re all pretty obsessed with the 17-year-old’s YouTube videos, and we can’t help but crack up every time we watch them, so we can only imagine how hilarious this podcast is going to be. We cannot wait.
