It looks like there’s a new feud in the YouTube community. This time, Trisha Paytas — who recently took the Internet by storm after marrying a Brad Pitt cardboard cutout — and Gabbie Hanna have taken to YouTube and social media to throw some major accusations at each other. From lying to blackmail and everything in between, the drama between these two has reached an all-time high.
It all started on Sunday, November 10, when Trisha posted a video titled, “WHY I DON’T TRUST GABBIE HANNA.” In the video, the 31-year-old broke down all the interactions she ever had her fellow YouTube star and revealed that the only issue she has with the 28-year-old stemmed back from 2017 when Trisha was dating Vlog Squad member, Jason Nash. According to Trisha, Gabbie allegedly started a serious rumor accusing her of having a sexually transmitted disease.
The drama didn’t end there. Once the video was posted, Gabbie took to her Instagram Stories and admitted to giving Jason a heads up to be careful when dating Trisha. She defending herself by sending a poll out to followers asking them what they would have done in that situation.
“Is it wrong of you to say, ‘hey, just so you know, I’ve heard this. Don’t know if it’s true, but this person told me. Talk to them about it, ask them about it.’ Is that wrong?” she asked fans in the since-deleted video.
The feud escalated when Gabbie took to Twitter and accused Trisha of blackmailing YouTuber Gabi DeMartino.
“She told her that if she doesn’t make a post, she’s to [sic] expose all her secrets,” she wrote in a since-deleted series of tweets. “She’s living in f**king fear and being BLACKMAILED into defending Trisha. She does NOT deserve this. She’s such a f**king gentle BEAUTIFUL GENEROUS LOVING SOUL.”
The 24-year-old found herself inserted into the drama after Gabbie texted her and asked if Trisha had been talking bad about her. Gabi allegedly responded and said no, which she later admitted on Twitter was a lie to cover for Trisha.
“Gabi admitting on her own free will she lies and why she did it,” Trisha posted on Instagram Stories with screenshots of her text messages with Gabi. “Where am I blackmailing?”
On Monday, November 11, Trisha continued the drama when she made a video titled, “GABBIE HANNA CAN’T STOP LYING.” In this 40-minute video, the Internet star read all her text messages between Gabbie and Gabi to prove she never threatened to blackmail anyone. She also revealed on Twitter that she plans to get her lawyers involved.
“Gabbie Hanna saying I’m blackmailing is HUGE DEFAMATION! 10000% hearing from my lawyers tomorrow – and I have NEVER EVER called my lawyers about another YouTuber,” she wrote on Twitter.
In an effort to end the feud, Gabbie took to her Twitter writing a note to fans apologizing for getting involved with drama. She also said she deleted all her tweets and wants to go back to hanging out with her boyfriend and making music.
“Deleting everything and moving on,” she wrote. “Regardless of what people may say or feel, I don’t involve myself in Internet drama. I don’t pick fights, I don’t ‘expose’ people. I make videos where I do my chores and laugh with my best friend, I hang out with my boyfriend, I write music.”
