The internet pretty much lost it when Trisha Paytas announced that she had gotten married on Friday, November 1. The YouTuber claimed she had walked down the aisle with her mystery boyfriend, and she even shared a bunch of photos from the wedding! But in every picture, she either blurred out the groom’s face or cut him out of the photo. Naturally, fans were on the edge of their seats waiting for the beauty guru to reveal who she married!
Well people, get ready, because the 31-year-old has finally uncovered her mystery man, and he is definitely not who fans expected! It turns out, Trisha wed a Brad Pitt cardboard cutout, and fans are not happy.
In a new video called “OFFICIAL WEDDING VIDEO,” which she posted on Tuesday, November 5, fans could see the internet star having a legit ceremony with the stand up statue. She wore a white, fluffy gown which she paired with a long veil, as she read off her vows in a chapel. She even planted a big ol’ smooch on the cardboard cutout of the actor! She was joined by her mom, Lenna Paytas, and her sister, Kalli Metz.
It all started on October 25, when the social media star posted a video to her YouTube channel called “I’m getting MARRIED next week! (actually).”
“I debated on if I should make this video because I just know people may take it the wrong way,” she said in the vlog. “But I’m engaged! It all happened so quickly, we are actually getting married next Friday. The chapel is booked! I’m really excited, but I didn’t know if I was even going to post about the wedding. It’s better to keep things under wraps because people like to ruin things, people like to dig around and find things. Not that I’m a super private person, but I’m obviously getting married to someone and they are a little bit more private. They’re well known but they’re just a private person, even though they’re a public person, they’re private. This all happened really, really quickly. I didn’t want to make it a big thing but it is a big thing! I just can’t keep it in.”
Many fans were skeptical about the legitimacy of the nuptials, and some even speculated that she was doing it all for attention. It looks like they were right after all!
