We’ve all been desperately wondering when the heck this Justin Bieber music drought is going to end. Especially after a source revealed that music was the last thing on his mind right now. This break made sense though since he recently got married to Hailey Baldwin and probably wants to focus on his relationship, but we were all pretty heartbroken over the news, TBH. But don’t worry guys, the singer just revealed that he may be back sooner than we all thought!
The 24-year-old totally squashed rumors he wouldn’t be making any new tunes when he took to Instagram to share an adorable video of a little girl freaking out over the speculation.
“He quit singing,” the young girl said, visibly shook by the news. “I’m talking about Justin Bieber! [He] quit!” In the clip, her mom proceeded to ask her, “What? Why would he do that?”
“‘Cause he was too tired doing it,” the girl explained, sadly. But that’s when JB chimed in, and set the record straight.
“Don’t believe everything you read sweet little girl, you will hear something from me sooner than you think,” Justin captioned the video. OMG. Can you hear us screaming?
So yeah, looks like he might be coming back soon enough after all! Before this update though, an insider had claimed that the reason Justin was taking a break from music was so that he could “make the world a better place.”
“Justin is searching for his purpose right now. He’s thinking, ‘Hey, maybe it’s not music. Maybe there are other things I should be doing,’” a source told People at the beginning of the month, which instantly sent fans into a panic. “So while he’s figuring it out, the last thing he needs is people asking him when he’s going back into the studio. He’s self-aware enough to know that some of his previous choices may not have accomplished that. So he’s working through it, which really should be applauded. It’s a very mature thing to do.”
But it turns out, we won’t have to wait long for new music after-all, and that’s coming from Justin himself! And this all gets even better because the singer was spotted entering a studio in Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 29. We’ve all been waiting a long time for new Justin music — three years in fact — so it’s only normal for people to freak out. Fans quickly took to Instagram to share their excitement, as expected. “HE’S GONNA DROP A NEW ALBUM OMG,” one fan wrote while another added, “JB5?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!”
“STOP IT. IM GONNA CRY,” a third supporter wrote underneath the video. Same girl, can we cry together?
