Ever since Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted having breakfast together before news broke that the "Wolves" singer and The Weeknd had called it quits, fans have been curiously scouring the Internet waiting for photos, news or sources to come out of the woodwork confirming that they are back together. Of course, we have seen the photos of Selena kissing Justin at the hockey rink during on his games. We've seen them laughing while bike riding together. And, in a new development, photos have surfaced of the pair walking out of a hot yoga studio together seemingly reassuring fans that they are still going strong and even working out together. (Everyone knows couples who work out together, stay together, right?) And who can forget their rendezvous at Hillsong Church? It's been said that their faith actually brought them back together.
But, it's important to remember that even though there have been photos of the pair hanging out with each other over the past couple of months, they haven't flat-out confirmed the relationship themselves. Fans everywhere, yes including myself, are speculating. It's human nature to want to know what two of your favorite celebrities are up to – especially these two celebrities. With their history, their incredibly good looks and extreme talent, this could be the power couple of 2018 that we all need in our lives. But, there's literally one fan in the whole world that is trying to save Jelena's privacy and it's pretty freaking awesome.
One Twitter user named, Adrian, posted a tweet on his personal account on January 2, 2018, at 11:40 a.m. that read, "Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber just came through my step dads work shdhfhrjkskfk."
Okay, so you may be asking, how the eff is that keeping their privacy? Well, Adrian had to post a second tweet along with a video after his first message basically blew up the Internet. And, I mean, of course it did, Adrian. HELLO, THIS IS JELENA WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. In his follow up tweet, he shared, "gosh this tweet definitely blew up!!! people have been tweeting me non stop asking for information. please respect that this is all i’m willing to disclose. Happy New Year everyone!"
In this video, he actually explained a little bit more about his step dad's company and why the power couple would ever be there. Are you ready for this? His stepdad actually works at a jet center. So, all of those rumors about whether or not Jelena was together in Mexico for New Year's Eve have seemingly been proved correct considering Adrian posted this whole thing just a day after New Year's. But, that's all he disclosed. He didn't say where they flew into, who they were with, where they were actually coming from – even though we can infer – and most of all, if there was any type of PDA going on.
Adrian explained, "I tweeted it because I thought it would just be cool to share it, you know? Cause it's interesting, it's not everyday that that happens. But, I've got a lot of people tweeting me, asking me all this information, all these questions, asking for pictures, is this real, I don't believe you, blah, blah, blah, blah. I'm just going to disclose everything right now. I don't have pictures because I wasn't there. My stepdad wasn't even there, he got a phone call calling him into work on a different plane and they just let him know that morning they came in and blah blah blah cause he works at a jet center. So I guess they flew in and I'm not going to say where we live, where they flew in because that's honestly my privacy and honestly their privacy. They are humans. They deserve to live their life, have a vacation, whatever they want without all their information getting blown out and stuff so I just want to let everyone know, that's all. I don't have pictures. They deserve to have privacy, I'm not going to say where we are, where we live, but they did come into a jet center this morning. That's the tea for today."
So, props to you, Adrian, for keeping Jelena's relationship the way they would want it, private. Because, not everyone would be so understanding of such a public couple the way you are. Not everyone would spill the tea, without actually spilling any tea at all. And not everyone would be okay just simply living with the knowledge that they know more about Justin and Selena's relationship than the rest of the world.
