OMG, you guys! Kylie Jenner just announced three new Valentines-inspired lip sets and one of them seems to be inspired by Taylor Swift. Wait, what?
That’s right, you guys! The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to her Instagram Stories to share Kylie Cosmetics‘ special edition Valentine’s sets, and a few of the colors share the same name as some of our all-time favorite Taylor songs!
The set in question includes a matte lipstick, a lip liner and a high gloss. Interestingly enough, though, two of the products are named “Story of Us” and “Forever and Always.” Sound familiar? We thought so!
As all Swifties know, those are the titles of some of the 29-year-old’s greatest hits, and we don’t know about you, but it seems a little odd that the 21-year-old makeup mogul would pay homage to the singer’s music in this way. We mean, after all the drama that went down between Kim Kardashian and the “Look What You Made Me Do” crooner, this had to have been an accident, right? Well, fans seem to think so!
One person tweeted, “Lets not draw our own conclusion this is probably just a coincidence,” with another Twitter user adding, “Pretty sure it was more of a valentine thing than a Tay thing but y’all go off.”
Honestly, even though “Story of Us” and “Forever and Always” are packaged within the same set, we’re going to say it’s probably more likely that it’s a coincidence than anything else. Sure, the reality star might not have any personal beef with the “Delicate” songstress, but we doubt she’s going to expose herself as a Swiftie at this stage of the game.
Regardless of not being fully convinced that this was intentional, us Swifties would still like to extend a warm welcome to Kylie if she’s considering joining the fanbase. After all, who doesn’t break out the Fearless and Speak Now albums every now and then for a good cry sesh? We know we do!
