Grab the tissues, you guys, because Lana Condor is saying goodbye to Lara Jean Covey once and for all. Yep, the actress officially finished filming the third and final To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before movie, and she took to Instagram to share an emotional tribute to her character, the cast and her fans.

“It’s been 16 days since the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise wrapped shooting movies two and three. I’ve been really struggling how to put into words my feelings towards this ending,” the 22-year-old actress wrote. “Words will never be able to describe my love for Lara Jean, her family, her friends, Peter. Words will never be able to describe the long nights on set, where it would suddenly hit me, like a ton of bricks, that I was getting the honor of portraying a girl so fiercely determined in love, who represents strength in softness. Words will never be able to describe my gratitude to YOU, for loving her as much as I do. For tying your hair up in a scrunchie and saying, ‘Let’s do this.’ Thank you from the very bottom of my heart, you’ve made me feel like the luckiest girl alive. Always and forever, your Lara Jean.”

“One day all of this will be proof, proof that we were here, proof that we loved each other. It’s the guarantee that no matter what happens to us in the future, this time was ours.” – Always and Forever, Lara Jean. Back in August, her costar Noah Centineo took to Twitter to say goodbye too.

“Tonight was my last night as Peter Kavinsky,” he wrote at the time. “I hope you all love these last installments as much as we do. Forever grateful for the opportunity to be yours. Thank you Lana. Thank you Michael. Thank you Matt. Thank you Netflix. Grateful to every person who told this story with us.”

But don’t worry because they may have finished filming, but we still get to see them on screen together for not one, but two more movies! PHEW. The second flick, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, is set to hit screens on February 12, 2020. And although the third movie, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean, doesn’t have a release date just yet, Netflix confirmed that they were indeed making it on August 15.
