Most fans can agree that Lana Del Rey looked absolutely stunning at the 2020 Grammy Awards, right? Well guys, this may come as a shock, but the singer revealed that she actually got her gorgeous dress at the mall! Wow, talk about relatable.
The “Summertime Sadness” songstress told Entertainment Tonight while walking the red carpet at the glamorous event, “So, I actually had another dress, and then my boyfriend and I were getting a belt for him at the mall, and I saw this, and I loved it. So this is a last-minute dress, but I love it.”
Lana’s gown was covered head to toe with sparkles and tassels, and fans are still swooning over the dazzling look. For those who missed it, the 34-year-old made her red carpet debut with boyfriend, Sean Larkin, at the awards show, which took place on Sunday, January 26. Sean, who donned an all-black suit, is a police officer who has appeared in the reality shows Live PD and PD Cam. They were first spotted together back in September.
“I’m happy,” Lana told the outlet when they asked about her beau.
The brunette beauty was nominated for both Album and Song of the Year for Norman F**king Rockwell! but Billie Eilish ended up winning the award in both categories, for her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and song “Bad Guy.”
Between the star-studded guest list and the show-stopping performances, the Grammys were definitely a night to remember. A bunch of other stars showed up in their best dresses and most swoon-worthy suits, including Shawn Mendes, Liza Koshy, Nikita Dragun, Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha and more. Alicia Keys hosted the event, and Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers, BTS, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Gwen Stefani and others hit the stage to perform.
