Any time some of our favorite artists combine their talents and drop a song together, it’s seriously a dream come true and the results are always epic. Well guys, you might want to prepare yourselves because three of our all time favorite stars just dropped a major clue that they’re working together on a new tune together, and um, we’re seriously freaking out! Drum roll please… We’re talking about Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey. Wow, talk about a dream team.
It turns out, rumors have actually been circulating the web for days now that the ladies are teaming up for a new bop. And the Hannah Montana actress and the “Dangerous Woman” crooner’s recent social media interactions are definitely adding fuel to the fire.
Get this, you guys — both Miley, 26, and Ariana, 25, liked posts on Instagram about the rumored collaboration. Ari hit the like button on a post from Instagram user @thegranderoom, which said, “An insider, who confirmed previous works such as She is Coming by Miley Cyrus, alleges that a new collaboration between Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, and Lana Del Rey is coming soon.”
As for Miley, she double tapped on a similar post by Instagram user @Smiley_Miley_1992. That one read, “Apparently Miley is set to release a female trio collab with her, Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey soon! Are you here for it?”
OMG. Is this the confirmation we’ve been waiting for? Unfortunately, until the girls officially announce something, we can’t say for sure. But it definitely seems like they’ve got something up their sleeves. And if they do release a track together, we already know it’s going to be one of our all time favorite songs.
As fans know, the “Wrecking Ball” singer and the former Victorious star are actually pretty close friends. And back in 2015, they even teamed up to record a duet together. They sang a cover of the Crowded House hit “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” and their voices sounded pretty magical together, TBH. And if you thought that was good, just wait until they throw Lana into the mix! Yeah, this seriously needs to happen.
