Well guys, it seems like Liam Payne may be taken again. That’s right, just six months after his shocking split from Cheryl Cole, the “Strip That Down” singer was caught flirting with Naomi Campbell on Instagram, and their interaction has a lot of fans thinking that they’re more than friends.
On Friday, January 18, 2019, the 48-year-old model, who’s currently slaying the runway in Paris Fashion Week, posted a selfie to her Instagram account. And although she looked flawless, it was the One Direction member’s comment that quickly caught everyone’s attention. “Perfection in a person,” he wrote. “Don’t give me those eyes.”
And that’s not all, because a couple of days before that, the two had another very flirty exchange. On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Liam posted a pic of himself staring in a mirror, and boy was it swoon-worthy. We guess Naomi thought so too, because she left a cheeky comment of her own for the 25-year-old. “Beautiful Soul,” she wrote underneath the snap. And Liam even replied to the model, writing, “takes one to know one.”
Um, OK, what is going on here? Based on their interaction, it definitely seems like the two may be more than friends, but we obviously can’t say for sure. The flirty comments come just weeks after Liam’s ex Cheryl revealed that the singer spent Christmas with her and their 22-month-old son Bear.
“There’s no animosity whatsoever,” Cheryl told The Sun newspaper at the beginning of the month. “In fact, Liam spent Christmas Day with us. He cooked the turkey and everything at our home. His family came on the 23rd [of December], and then he was in the house before I woke up on Christmas Day.”
Ugh, so sweet! It’s honestly amazing that even though Liam’s seemingly moved on with Naomi, him and his ex are still on good terms for the sake of their son. Hopefully we get some more updates on #Laomi’s relationship soon… Is it too soon for a ship name? LOL.
