Ever since he was born in March of 2017, Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole have kept their son Bear super private. We were all dying to know what the little cutie looked like since up until recently, we’ve only seen pics of his hands and feet! So naturally, the Internet practically lost it when the former Girls Aloud singer finally shared some snaps of the toddler in honor of the new year. Although we couldn’t see his face in the pics, we’re honestly all still swooning over how cute they were. But it turns out, not everyone is as excited about them as we are. Liam recently spoke out about the photos that his ex shared, and uh-oh… some fans think that he did not seem too happy.
“You all saw my son… pictures of Bear for the first time,” the “Strip That Down” singer said in a serious tone during a recent Instagram Live.
“Well, the back of his head,” he added. Do we sense some sass there Liam? The former One Direction member may not be happy about the surplus of new photos since he previously explained that he didn’t want to share any pics of Bear until he becomes old enough to decide for himself if he wants to be in the public eye or not.
“Rather than being pictured and being put in places, I wanna give him the chance,” Liam told the Evening Standard back in March of 2018. “If I take it away from him now, he never has the chance to go back.”
As J-14 readers know, Cheryl posted three new pics of the little guy while she was reminiscing about her favorite moments from 2018, and we seriously cannot believe how big he got! Not only is the 1-year-old already walking, but he’s already chasing after soccer balls like his dad! Hardcore Liam fans know that the singer’s got a major love for the sport.
And the best part? The little cutie’s already got some long, luscious curls, and in one of the pics, he’s even rocking a little pony tail! Ugh, our hearts are seriously bursting.
LOOK AT THAT HAIR. OK, so we totally understand why Liam wants to keep his son private but that will definitely not stop us from gushing over these pics.
