We all fell in love Lilia Buckingham after she appeared as Autumn in the Brat TV shows Chicken Girls, Total Eclipse, and most recently, Dirt. Now, the actress (who’s BFFs with Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler) has opened up to J-14 exclusively about her Dirt castmates, what goes on behind-the-scenes, and what we can expect in Season 2 of the show — and prepare yourselves, it’s going to get wild.

As J-14 readers know, Season 1 of the digital series ended with Autumn’s sister Celeste receiving a mysterious letter regarding Luke’s dad. And the actress just revealed that the next season’s going explore that, and it’s going to take a major turn. “The whole season is basically me and Celeste, solving this like murder,” she revealed. “It’s very noir, mystery. It kind of takes a dip into the Riverdale pool. It’s super different than Season 1. I love it.”

Umm… we are so here for this! As for Lilia’s character, Autumn, “we get to see her intelligent side and how she’s fiercely loyal to her family, which is a lot of fun,” the 15-year-old continued. “She gets to downward spiral, kind of, which is so much fun. Like I loved doing that and getting to cry and scream. I got to do fun emotional scenes.”

Lilia also revealed that there will be a lot of romance in the second season, and we’re not complaining! “Lots of romance. It’s action packed… like action packed in the way that when we all read the script, we’re like how are they going to do that? But they did it,” she continued. “Season 2 kind of feels like a completely different show to me.”

Wow, that sounds super intense! The actress also dished about her relationship with her castmates, including her boyfriend on the show, Tayler Holder, and it couldn’t have been sweeter. “He’s the best, and we have really easy chemistry. He’s amazing. I love him,” the actress gushed of the actor who plays Luke in the show.

“Everybody loves each other. It’s like a family,” she went on. “We spend a lot of time together. After set we’ll go bowling or go to dinner. Even when we’re not filming and we’re on hiatus we’ll hang out because we’re really close.”

Season 2 of Dirt premieres later this month. You can catch it here.
