The ladies from Little Mix were left “brokenhearted” after they were forced to cancel their show in Vienna, Austria, on Thursday, September 20 due to a scary car accident. One of their production trucks unfortunately crashed, but thankfully, no one was hurt.
“Vienna, we are so sad to say that tonight’s show has had to be cancelled,” Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson shared on Instagram. “Unfortunately one of our production trucks was in an accident earlier today which means we haven’t been able to set up our staging and lights. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it means we aren’t able to put on the show for you. We are absolutely brokenhearted as we were so excited to see you all. All tickets will be refunded, please contact your point of sale.”
LM5: The Tour kicked off on September 1 in Liverpool, England. Fans quickly took to the comment section to show their support for the girls.
“So sorry for everyone! But glad that everyone is okay and safe, thats the most important thing,” one fan wrote, while another added, “That’s so horrible! Glad to hear no one was hurt. I truly feel sorry for the fans who were supposed to attend, but please try to understand that this was an unplanned and unfortunate event.”
Some Mixers, on the other hand, were left pretty disappointed over the news.
“I’m crying, I am in Vienna now and thought I will see the girls today,” a fan exclaimed in the comment section.
“This cannot be real,” another fan wrote. “I have this tickets for so long now and traveled half around the country to see you guys.”
“I hope you will do reschedule of the show,” one Instagram user suggested, with another writing, “Could we please have a replacement.”
We’re so glad that everyone is OK.
