We were all shocked and devastated for Louis Tomlinson and his family after learning that his younger sister Félicité had passed away on Wednesday, March 13. The Instagram star’s death comes only two years after the family lost their mom, Johannah Deakin, to leukemia, and we can only imagine how much pain the whole family must be in.
Since the heartbreaking news hit the web, we’ve all been pretty worried about the One Direction singer. We mean, his siblings have all shared tributes to their late sister, but Louis has yet to speak out about the tragedy. But on Saturday, March 23, the “Back To You” crooner was spotted for the first time since his younger sister’s tragic death, and he looked like he was in good spirits. We are so relieved to know that he’s doing OK!
Louis went go karting with his other sisters — Lottie, 20, Daisy, 15, Phoebe, 15 — to celebrate their birthday, and it looked like they had an amazing time! In a video uploaded to Phoebe’s Snapchat Story, Louis appeared happy and excited as he celebrated coming in first place during their go kart outing. He was joined by Lottie’s boyfriend, Sam, and his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder. It’s honestly such a relief to see him smiling, despite the hard time they’re all going through.
Daisy also shared a sweet selfie with the 1D heartthrob, captioning it, “Brother, best friend.”
“I always knew today was going to be difficult but my [family] have made it so much fun,” Daisy wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Birthday go karting… I did come [in] last place though.”
The girls shared a few more snaps from the outing, and it was clear that the family had a fun day together.
We are honestly so amazed by the entire family’s strength, and we love that they’re together during this hard time. Félicité, also known as Fizzy, was unfortunately found dead in her apartment after reportedly suffering a heart attack. RIP Fizzy.
