Get ready to see one of your favorite couples on screen together. Yeah, we’re talking about Maia Mitchell and Rudy Mancuso! According to Variety, the duo are set to star together in Black Mirror‘s new spinoff series, Little Black Mirror, and lucky for you guys, we’ve got all the deets!
The show will only have three episodes, but boy, do they look intense. And get this — Juanpa Zurita, Lele Pons, Anwar Jibawi, Hannah Stocking, Jeff Wittek, Delaney Glazer and Alesso will all also star in the new series. Wow, talk about an epic cast. The episodes will air on May 26, June 2 and June 6, so mark your calendars!
As fans know, Maia and Rudy started dating back in 2015, and since then they’ve been total couple goals, TBH. And it turns out, hitting the screen together has actually been a longtime dream of the singer’s. Back in August 2017, he told J-14 exclusively that he wanted to appear in Teen Bech Movie 3 with his girlfriend.
“We talk about it a lot actually,” Rudy said. “There’s actually not a lot we’ve done together because we’re really not comfortable releasing something unless it’s really true [to us]. Now that I’m thinking about it, [starring in Teen Beach Movie 3 together] would be a lot of fun.”
Unfortunately, there never was a third edition to the Teen Beach series, so that never happened. But with the new Netflix series, his dream will finally become a reality — and we could not be more excited.
As for Black Mirror, the fifth season is kicking off on June 5, and you might want to watch it. Why, you ask? Well, Miley Cyrus is guest starring in one of the episodes! She plays a troubled pop singer, and based off the trailer, it looks like it’s going to be super creepy.
