It looks like Meghan Markle is saying goodbye to the royal palace and hello to Hollywood! Yep, Disney announced on Thursday, March 26 that Meghan will be starring in their upcoming movie The Elephant, and we’ve got all the exciting deets.

So it turns out, Meghan will narrate the new movie, which is set to premiere on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, on April 3, 2020. According to Variety, the film will follow an African elephant named Shani and her male child Jomo as they migrate with their herd and its matriarch, Gaia, across the Kalahari Desert in Botswana. A press release from Disney noted that the elephants face “brutal heat, dwindling resources and persistent predators, as they follow in their ancestor’s footsteps on a quest to reach a lush, green paradise.”

In support of the movie, Disneynature and the Disney Conservation Fund will be donating to Elephants Without Borders — an organization working to protect the elephants living in Botswana.

Last year, people were pretty shook when news hit the web that Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, were going to officially step away from their roles within the British Royal Family. It will go into effect on March 31, 2020. It’s also been reported that the couple have moved from the U.K. to Los Angeles, CA.

As fans know, this actually isn’t the first time Meghan has appeared on the screen. Before becoming a princess, she starred in numerous TV shows and movies, including Suits, Dater’s Handbook, Anti-Social, When Sparks Fly, Random Encounters, Dysfunctional Friends, Horrible Bosses, The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down, Get Him to the Greek, Remember Me, Good Behavior, The Apostles, Deceit, A Lot Like Love and more!

Megan and Harry got married back in May 2018. They welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6, 2019.
