Valentine’s Day is this week, which only means one thing: Isn’t It Romantic starring Rebel Wilson and Liam Hemsworth is officially coming to theaters, and we seriously can’t wait to see it. Unfortunately, The Last Song actor wasn’t even able to attend the premiere and celebrate the film’s release because he’s in the hospital. Wait, what?
That’s right, you guys. According to an Us Weekly source, the 29-year-old “canceled his junket interviews Sunday because he was suffering from kidney stones.” Ouch!
Don’t worry, though! Miley Cyrus showed up in his place, proving that this newly married couple truly make a great team. The former Disney Channel star even took to Twitter to share how proud she is of her husband, despite the fact that he couldn’t make it to the event himself.
“So proud of my hunky hubby @liamhemsworth & his newest movie #IsntItRomantic,” the 26-year-old tweeted. “He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons… but he is recovering and taking this time to rest / heal. It’s hard for entertainers to put themselves before the project but this time it was crucial …. I am proud to represent him and his incredible work. So happy to see him shining in this comedy! He is the funniest person I know , and the world now gets to see the Liam I wake up to every day…. luckiest.” Aww!
Liam also took to Twitter to apologize to fans for not being able to make it out, saying, “Sorry I couldn’t make it to the @isntitromantic premier last night guys. Been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff the last couple days. Lucky I have the best girl in the world to represent for me! Thanks for the support babe!”
