Miley Cyrus is no stranger to the spotlight, which means she has received a whole lot of heat during her time in Hollywood. The Disney Channel alum opened up in iHeartRadio‘s Label Defiers with Zico Coconut Water podcast hosted by Elvis Duran about the pressures she faced as a child star and how she hopes her little sister Noah Cyrus doesn’t have to deal with all that.
“I think the way people judge you, or people would write articles on me when I was a kid…people would treat me like I could handle those comments as an adult, like I had this thick skin,” Miley said.
We just love the way the “Malibu” singer is looking out for her family, and we think it’s safe to say Noah will handle herself quite well while navigating through this new chapter of hers. She’s sure off to a great start. “I’m Stuck,” “Stay Together” and “Make Me (Cry)” are total jams.
