Milo Manheim sure is fired up: he has officially joined Fall 2018 lineup of Dancing With the Stars Season 27! The 17-year-old actor from the Disney Channel Original Movie, Zombies, is the youngest contestant to compete this season. The star took to social media to share the announcement with fans and express his excitement for this dance-filled journey.

He and his partner Witney Carson have already started practicing, and Milo admtited live on air at Good Morning America that he can already tell this is going to be quite the challenge. Despite his experience dancing in a Disney Channel movie-musical, Milo admitted he has a long way to go!

“Here’s the deal. Honestly, when I first walked in I thought having a little bit of dancing experience would help me have a little bit of rhythm. But once we started getting going, it was nothing like I ever imagined. It’s so much more difficult than I thought it would be,” he explained. “I’ll be dancing with her and thinking I’m doing a really good job, and then I’ll look back at the video and I just look terrible.”

Milo continued to share that he’s really enjoying dancing with Witney every day – even though she’s seriously putting him to work!

“We have so much fun,” Milo said. “I look forward to it every day – but she is tough. If I mess up, she will make sure that I never mess up ever again.”

Whitney feels good about it too – in fact, it’s her tenth season on the show.

“I’m really excited,” the 24-year-old dancer said. “This is my tenth season on the show and that’s a lucky number for me. He’s got the personality, he’s got some rhythm and that’s all we really need.”

Season 27 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
