Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are engaged, and our jaws have been on the floor ever since news broke. Fans are quite shocked at how quickly these two are moving, as the couple had only been publicly dating for two months before getting engaged. The proposal reportedly happened on July 18, the actress’ 36th birthday. Nick and his parents, Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., jetted off to India last week for a week full of family time and engagement ceremonies.

“Prayer, family and loved ones as the foundation to this new chapter. ??,” Nick captioned his album of engagement photos on Instagram.
But what REALLY got us was the trip the family made to an orphanage, where Nick sang an a cappella rendition of a Jonas Brothers classic. Yep, we’re talkin’ “Lovebug.” The way Priyanka was looking at Nick during the song proves she’s a Jo Bros stan like the rest of us. Who would’ve known? And Mama Jonas singing every lyric just has our hearts fluttering. Everything about this is just radiating pure joy.
According to Us Weekly, a fan congratulated Nick earlier this month at the star’s John Varvatos fragrance launch party – and he responded, “Thanks, man.” GAH, we’re freaking out. The first time the two were seen out together publicly was at the 2017 Met Gala when they arrived at the red carpet, well, together. However, then Nick was rumored to be dating Harry Styles’ ex Georgia Fowler a few months later. It wasn’t until May of 2018 that the couple became official, and clearly they are wasting no time when it comes to tying the knot. Before the couple shared their own photos, Priyanka’s friend, fellow actress Raveena Tandon shared the first photos of Priyanka with her ring.
“I don’t think any of us ever saw him this happy,” a source close to Nick spilled to Radar. “Age isn’t a factor for him – he’s madly in love.”
While some are raising their eyebrows at the duo’s eleven-year age difference, Nick has always tended to date girls older than him. After all, if you know anything about Nick he’s a true old soul. Like hello, he wrote the Jonas Brothers‘ first Top 20 hit “S.O.S.” in ten minutes as a tween. There is no doubt he is definitely a man ahead of his time. Even back in the day, a 9-year age gap didn’t stop him from dating Delta Goodrem.
“I had my earlier character building experience [when] I was 18, and I was dating this older woman.” Nick revealed on Anna Faris’ “Unqualified” podcast. “I’m taking this girl who’s 9 years older than me out.”
So how are Jonas Brothers stans feeling about the youngest of the band walking down the aisle? Let’s just say Twitter is exploding with a lot of feelings.

As we all know, Kevin and Danielle Jonas are happily married with two adorable little girls. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are engaged. But wait. It’s 2018, you guys – do we still have to keep reminding everyone about the Bonus Jonas. Frankie Jonas is still available, as far as we know.
Nick is following in the footsteps of a few other celebrity couples that are low-key sprinting to the aisle. Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged after publicly dating for only a few weeks. And to add to the list, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin announed their engagement literally out of no where, before even confirming that they were officially dating again after splitting in 2016.
To quote the Jo Bro throwback “Just Friends” though, looks like Nick is finally going to get that picket fence and a rose garden after all. Congrats to the happy couple!
