Well, this was unexpected! We all remember Lil Xan and Noah Cyrus’ super messy breakup back in September 2018. After a series of intense social media exchanges, cheating accusations, and many tears – the two musicians decided to very publicly part ways. Now, three months later, the Soundcloud rapper has taken to Instagram to legit praise his ex. An tbh, everyone is downright confused AF about it all.
“i genuinely think these 2 are some of the best not only female [artists] but in general coming up rn,” the 22-year-old rapper captioned an Instagram pic of Noah and fellow singer Billie Eilish. “yes i know things got sloppy but i see the world so clear now! and everybody stop with all the ‘[you’re] tryna get her back’ it’s not like that i just don’t see the need for drama or fighting and their both genuinely good people! and when i say coming up i don’t mean i’m a f—–g bigger artist jeez haha.”
In November, the singer (whose real name is actually Diego Leanos) announced on Instagram that he would be going to rehab.
“I just dropped out of SoundCloud Uni to go to rehab, I leave in like 5 days And I couldn’t be happier with this choice,” he said. “I love you guys for being so supportive and can’t wait too get back clean headed ready to Finish my album!”
Days later, Noah took a dig at her former bae when she said on social media that her last relationship just wasn’t right. It all started when the WorldStar HipHop Instagram account uploaded a prompt for their followers to answer. “What mistakes did you make in your last relationship that you won’t repeat again?” it read. The “All Falls Down” singer commented, “My last relationship was the mistake. lmao.”
But in the end, Lil Xan owned up and took the blame for everything that went down between them.
“Honestly, honest to God, I would say, most of the reason the breakup happened, it was my fault. We could’ve still been together. I just feel like I f—–d everything up,” he said during an appearance on Complex’s Open Late with Peter Rosenberg.
Well, let’s just hope things don’t go down in flames again. Between their rocky relationship and Lil Xan’s Flamin’ Hot Cheetos debacle, these two have endured enough heat.
