Of course the cast of Riverdale have been sharing small details here and there about what to expect in the second season of the show, but even bigger spoilers about what’s to come were dropped during the show’s panel at San Diego's Comic Con over the weekend.

How big? Well, for starters, a short trailer was dropped along with season one's blooper reel. It will not only bring a smile to fans faces, but also have them begging for even more answers on what's to come when the show finally returns later this year.

Secondly, a new resident will be dropping by Riverdale. Who? Sadly it’s not Sabrina Spellman as many were hoping (that doesn't mean she won't appear at some point), but the pink-haired character of Toni Topaz – who does appear in the Archie comics, will show up. She will be played by Vanessa Morgan, who has also appeared on MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles.

Executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, broke the news to Entertainment Tonight after the show’s panel, and revealed that Toni’s introduction will explore her bisexuality which was hinted at heavily in the comics, and she will also bring some trouble for Betty and Jughead! Oh no!

He said, “In the Riverdale version of this character, she's going to be a student at Southside High. She's going to be a member of the Southside Serpents and she's going to be a friend and confidant to Jughead Jones.”

“Bughead is pretty strong, and pretty undeniable, and pretty epic, but you know even the most epic of romances has trouble — and trouble often comes as a third party. So yes, it is conceivable that Toni will potentially test the limits of Bughead,” he continued to say.

Going back to the comic con panel, it was also revealed that viewers will know what exactly happened to Fred by the end of the first episode.

If that wasn't enough drama, even more will be added when it comes to Veronica. Camila Mendes revealed that her character's ex, Nick St. Clair from New York will also be making an appearance this season, and he will be bringing out her dark side. Yikes!

Lili Reinhart also revealed that things will be getting pretty dark for Betty this season. Much darker than they were last season. Oh boy!

Jughead will be at a huge crossroads, and will have to pick between his friends, family, and the Southside Serpents. Also, on a much happier tone – his mom, and sister Jellybean may show up during the second half of season two. All that's stopping their appearance is finding the right actors to cast for the roles, the creators want to make sure they have it right.

Finally, all hope about Sabrina is not lost! It was also teased during the panel that season two will have also have some supernatural elements to it, namely one character in particular. We all know they're talking about everyone's favorite teenage witch!
