Congratulations Sarah Hyland! The Modern Family star just announced that she and her boyfriend of almost two years, Wells Adams, are getting married! The couple shared the exciting news via Instagram on Tuesday, July 16.
“That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff,” the actress wrote alongside a series of photos from the magical moment.
So how did the Bachelorette alum propose, you ask? Well, it turns out, he asked the 28-year-old to marry him on the beach — wow, how romantic is that?! Lucky for us, Wells even shared a video of the exact moment he got down on one knee, and our hearts are seriously bursting. It honestly looked like it came straight out of a movie, if you ask us.

Talk about goals. The couple also gave us a glimpse of Sarah’s gorgeous diamond ring! The 25-year-old reality star posted a screenshot of himself and his new fiancée FaceTiming some friends to his Instagram Stories, where she showed off the glamorous piece of jewelry.
As fans know, the couple actually met through social media back in October 2017.
“Have you seen those memes of ‘Slide into the DMs?’ That. He slid into my DMs,” she revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “I was following him. We had tweeted each other because I thought he was funny and he was a fan of the show.”
But what did Wells say when he messaged her?
“Next time I’m in LA, I’m taking you out for drinks and tacos,” he wrote.
A message that would change Sarah’s life forever. After that, they quickly became couple goals — constantly hanging out, gushing over each other on social media and in interviews, and sharing adorable, PDA-filled pictures to their feeds. We’re seriously living for this relationship, and we could not be more excited for them.
