Selena Gomez is that you? The naturally dark-haired beauty changed up her signature look in a huge way at the 2017 American Music Awards by hitting the red carpet with blonde hair. Yep, SEL IS BLONDE AND SLAYING.
The starlet hit the red carpet solo — as in rekindled flame Justin Bieber was not by her side — wearing a black leather dress that featured some snazzy zippers giving us major motorcycle babe vibes and tousled blonde locks that grazes her shoulders.

So obsessed with this new version of Selena. It's unclear as to whether this look is here to stay and Selena actually dyed her hair or is just having some temporary fun thanks to a wig. She did rock a blonde wig once before, in her "Bad Liar" music video.
She must've really loved having some fun with this look and decided to bring it back out, with a more modern cut for the AMAs. Selena did show off some edgy bangs on her Instagram story earlier today though and her hair was still dark. But clearly, she felt like changing things up for the red carpet. She took to Instagram to show off her new look with some stunning black and white Polaroid-style pics. "so i am blonde now," Selena wrote in the caption.
Blonde Selena is honestly giving us so much life.
And she kept this 'do for her performance of "Wolves" later in the show too, which was her first performance since she underwent her secret kidney transplant surgery and it's her on TV performance of the year.
Selena looks amazing and we already know she's feeling better than she ever has before so this new hair is just icing on the cake. Here for it, girl.
