Leading up to any red carpet that Zendaya blesses her presence with, fans are always oozing with excitement over what she'll be wearing – and what standout hairstyle she'll be rocking, of course. Z is the ultimate fashion girl, and we just love being inspired by her beauty and grace. So why wasn't she at the 2018 Golden Globes last night? It was a huge bummer, and fans had no idea why she was a no-show.

Not only is it surprising that she didn't join The Greatest Showman fam, but the movie was up for three categories too. The filmed was nominated for "Best Motion Picture," "Best Original Song" ("This Is Me"), "Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture" (Hugh Jackman). While they didn't sweep every category (which we think is an outrage, btw), they did very deservingly snag the award for "Best Original Song."

While we're sure she would have loved to join her film fam celebrate the film's big win, there must have been a legitimate reason why she skipped out. One fan claims she was at Target – but like, was she really?

Someone else even says she saw her at the airport in London – was she hanging with her rumored bae Tom Holland, perhaps?

This year, the Golden Globes were different than ever before – for a very powerful reason. Rather than stand out, men and women decided to stand up by wearing black to show solidarity. In light of the recent movements against sexual harassment and misconduct, celebs decided to come together and change the topic of conversation on the red carpet. Rather than the typical "Who are you wearing?" conversation, the event was filled with stars using their voices to fight for a more equal world.

As a young role model who has never hesitated to use her voice to fight for what's right, fans waited and waited to see her stroll down that carpet. Z has been busy promoting The Greatest Showman recently, so it was definitely a surprise that she didn't attend the award show alongside her castmates Zac Efron, Hugh Jackman, Michele Williams, Keala Settle and director Michael Gracey.

Not to mention, the oh so talented Michelle Williams was accompanied by #MeToo movement founder Tarana Burke. It was an iconic night in history, and Zendaya was definitely missed.

Even though she wasn't there in person, you bet Z tweeted out a congratulations to Keala and The Greatest Showman songwriters Pasek and Paul.

Hey, there's always the Oscars!
