Congratulations might be in order for Amanda Bynes and her fiancé Paul Michael. On Tuesday, March 17, the former Nickelodeon star seemingly announced that the couple was expecting their first baby together. She took to Instagram and posted a since-deleted photo of what appeared to be her ultrasound.

“Baby on board,” she captioned the snap. Paul shared the same image, which has also been deleted, alongside the caption, “Baby in the making.”

As fans know, this announcement came just a few days after it was reported that the couple had split. But despite the speculation, Paul insisted to Page Six that they were still going strong.

For those who missed it, rumors first started swirling that the couple had decided to go their separate ways after fans noticed that The Amanda Show alum had taken down all her photos with Paul from Instagram. In Touch even reported on Sunday, March 8 that Paul had confirmed the split to them exclusively.

“We did [breakup]. I love her though, she’s my best friend,” he allegedly told the outlet.

But on March 10, 2020, the college student insisted that his and Amanda’s Instagram accounts were hacked, and that they didn’t call it quits after all.

“Both of our Instagrams got hacked and someone deleted our pictures and sent DMs saying we broke up,” he said. “We never broke up and weren’t able to log into our Instagrams until last night.

Us Weekly had reported that Amanda was ordered to enter a psychiatric facility for mental health treatment following a secret court hearing held on Thursday, March 5, but Paul claimed this wasn’t true either.

“She’s not ordered to go to a hospital. She’s ordered to go to a residential treatment, which is called inpatient, but she’s not in a hospital,” he explained. “She is affected by trauma from her childhood. The anxiety made her drop out of school and the judge ordered her to work on that in residential treatment. She’s allowed to come and go as long as she goes to therapy. She’s doing really well, besides anxiety and trauma.”

For those who missed it, the actress first announced that she was engaged to Paul on February 14, 2020. So are these two gearing up to have a baby? Guess fans will have to wait and see.
