Actress Anna Kendrick has clapped back after comments she made about being “miserable” while on set of Twilight went viral.
“Oh. I thought we stopped doing this ‘actress makes a dumb joke about the cold weather but we turn it into clickbait anyway’ s**t in like 2014,” she replied to an outlet who had posted an article about it. “You OK, hun?”
For those who missed it, the 34-year-old (who played Bella Swan’s BFF, Jessica, in the iconic movie series) recently opened up about what it was like to make the flicks, and she admitted that she was so upset on set that she “wanted to murder everyone.”
“The first movie we filmed in Portland, OR, and I just remember being so cold and miserable. And I just remember my Converse being completely soaked through and feeling like, ‘You know, this is a really great group of people and I’m sure that we would be friends at a different time, but I want to murder everyone,’” she dished in an interview with Vanity Fair. “Although, it was also kind of bonding. There was something about it, like if you go through some trauma event. Like you imagine people who survive a hostage situation, and you’re kind of bonded for life.”
And it turns out, Anna isn’t the only star to diss the film! Robert Pattinson, who famously starred as Edward Cullen in the franchise, previously admitted that he hated the role.
“He’s the most ridiculous person… The more I read the script, the more I hated this guy,” the actor said about his character.
The 34-year-old also told Vanity Fair in 2011, “It is weird being part of that and representing something you don’t particularly like.”
Ouch! As fans know, the movie came out back in 2008 and it also starred Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Booboo Stewart and more. It was a big part of a lot of our childhoods, and there’s not a day that goes by that we don’t miss it!
