Fans are seriously convinced that Ariana Grande is about to star in a brand new Ryan Murphy TV show, and we’re so here for it, TBH!

The speculation started online after one major hint hit social media. On Sunday, April 26, the Glee creator took to Instagram and seemingly teased the upcoming tenth season of American Horror Story, but that’s not what caught his follower’s attention. Previously, the famed producer was only following one person on Instagram — his husband David Miller — but now, the “Thank U Next” songstress is the only other person that Ryan follows on the social media app. Sounds pretty suspicious to us!

Naturally, people were quick to assume that years after Scream Queens went off the air, these two would be teaming up once again. Some people were quick to guess that she’ll appear in the next season of AHS, while others are convinced that they’re working on a brand new project.

“Ryan Murphy now officially follows two people on Instagram: his husband and Ariana Grande. Could the two be teaming up for a secret new project?” one person wrote on Twitter. Another added, “Can we all just take a moment to think about how amazing it would be to have Ariana Grande in AHS… Holy s**t. I’m hoping she doesn’t just die in the [beginning] like in Scream Queens.”

A third person wrote, “Ryan Murphy just teased the next season of AHS and now he only follows two people and Ariana is one of them… IMAGINE IF SHE’S A PART OF THE NEXT SEASON OMG PLEASE.”

Another group of fans thinks that this might be the Scream Queens reboot announcement that they’ve been promised in the past. For those who missed it, Ryan dished on bringing back the show and it turns out, he and the cast are just as into the idea as the fans are.

“I would have to say that the answer to that lies in the studio who made it,” he said during an interview with Deadline from November 2019. “Obviously I work for Netflix now, but if I could do anything to bring it back. Emma [Roberts] said she would do it, Lea Michele said she would do it, Jamie Lee Curtis, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd are all in. So it would depend if Fox wants to do it. I think we’d all do it.”

Obviously, neither Ryan nor Ariana has confirmed a collaboration or upcoming TV show just yet, but we hope they announce something soon!
