Don’t worry BTS fans, the K-Pop group is doing okay. The heartthrobs were involved in a scary tour bus collision following their concert in Taoyuan, Taiwan on Dec. 9, which was the last stop on their Love Yourself World Tour.

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, and JungKook had reportedly boarded their tour buses after their show at the Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium. They were on an expressway, heading to their hotel when the buses had a minor crash. The cause of the accident was a vehicle several cars in front of the bus stopping short, resulting in a chain of collisions behind it. According to China Times, at least seven vehicles were involved in the collision. This included three of BTS’ tour buses and a number of taxis. The K-pop group’s tour company and team quickly arranged for alternative transportation to come to the scene of the accident, and the boys were able to get to their hotel unscathed. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Phew!

On the following night, Dec. 10, the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards premiere took place in Korea. And while a number of K-pop acts took the stage (Wanna One, LOONA, THE BOYZ, and Stray Kids – to name a few), BTS wasn’t there. So why wasn’t BTS at the 2018 MAMAs premiere? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that they had just wrapped their tour, which concluded with two sold-out shows on Dec. 8 and Dec. 9. They’re busy guys, so it only makes sense that they’d take a day off. In fact, we still have MAMAs Fans’ Choice on Dec. 12 in Japan and the 2018 MAMAs in Hong Kong on Dec. 14 to look forward to — and BTS is set to attend and perform at both.

We’re glad BTS’ car accident wasn’t too serious and that everyone came out safe and sound. Now, we can’t wait to see them perform at the MAMAs!
