TikTok star Charli D’Amelio is really not here for a new trend that has recently gone viral on the video streaming site. Yep, the social media star took to Twitter on Saturday, May 16 to completely slam the”disgusting” challenge, which seemingly made fun of people with disabilities.

For the trend, users pretended to break their wrist by contorting their hand. But when one TikTok user, whose daughter has cerebral palsy, claimed that the trend was “highly offensive,” as it describes a pose “used by many with disabilities, largely including those with cerebral palsy, due to the weak muscles and their brain development,” Charli decided to get involved.

“Hello everyone, there is a sound going around on TikTok making fun of disabilities,” she wrote. “That is completely unacceptable, wrong, and the fact that people think that the ‘trend’ is not disrespectful and disgusting is not OK!”

For those who missed it, the influencer’s comments come just weeks after she clapped back at people who accused her of showing too much skin for her age.

On May 4, 2020, the 15-year-old shared a screenshot of a comment that read, “TBH, I hate body shaming, but this is how girls become w**res. She legit posts bikini pics and she is underaged… Which I don’t agree with, at all.”

“Very fishy that you would say this about me… Next time I will be sure to wear my full body snowsuit to the beach!” Charli fired back.

Previously, the brunette beauty urged her fans to stop talking about her body online.

“STOP TALKING ABOUT MY BODY! It’s not your place to tell me if I’m losing weight or gaining weight,” she wrote in a series of tweets on April 27, 2020. “Why don’t we all just be respectful and understand that we should just be kind and uplift everyone instead of trying to bring others down. I’ve seen these videos about me my friends and complete strangers but it doesn’t matter who you’re doing it to.”
