Between the glamorous outfits and breathtaking performances, Coachella 2019 was definitely a weekend to remember. We mean, there was a major High School Musical reunion, #Ethma was spotted together and not to mention that Selena Gomez hit the stage for the first time in over a year for a surprise performance! A lot went down, but there was one moment that truly made history. And that’s when Ariana Grande brought ’NSync out on stage with her! OMG. The boys haven’t performed together since 2013, so it was definitely a show-stopping moment.
Unfortunately, Justin Timberlake (who recently wrapped up his solo world tour) wasn’t there, but JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass danced and sang their hearts out alongside the “God Is a Woman” songstress. They sang the band’s old classic “Tearin’ Up My Heart” together, as well as Ari’s hit single “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.”
“I’ve been rehearsing my whole f–king life for this moment,” the brunette beauty gushed as she brought the band out on stage.
Since they’re both two of our all time favorite artists and have released some of our all time favorite bops over the years, seeing them perform together was seriously epic. Not to mention that their voices sounded absolutely amazing together!
“Coachella, this has been a dream of ours. Thank you, thank you Ariana,” JC said to the crowd during the performance.
As fans know, the band went their separate ways back in 2002, but reunited in 2013 for a performance at the MTV VMA’s. That means it’s been over five years since their last performance, so it was truly a magical moment.
And that’s not all. Nicki Minaj and Diddy also joined the 25-year-old on stage. She sang 23 songs in total — including a bunch from her album “Thank U, Next,” some from “Sweetener” and a few old bops, of course. It was seriously an epic night.
