Hey Cole Sprouse, is that you? The Riverdale star just debuted a drastic new hairdo, and wow, we almost didn’t recognize him!
That’s right, the actor that we all know and love as Jughead Jones in the epic CW series just said goodbye to dark brown locks and dyed his hair a sandy blond color instead. He posted a pic of the drastic change to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, April 16, and we’re honestly shook.
We’re especially shook because because his twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, has almost the exact same hair color! As if it wasn’t already hard enough to tell them apart! See for yourself, here’s a picture of Dylan.
Freaky right? Anyway, we’re seriously loving Cole’s new look. But the question on everyone’s minds is — did the actor dye his hair for a new role? Or was he just ready for some change?
Well, there’s unfortunately been no talk of any upcoming roles at the moment for the cutie. But as fans know, the Suite Life of Zack and Cody twins are both natural blonds — so it’s definitely a possibility that the 26-year-old just wanted to go back to his roots!
Cole’s been dying his hair dark for his role in Riverdale, but since they recently wrapped filming Season 3, there’s really no need for him to keep his black hair. That is, until they start filming Season 4, of course!
And he’s not the only Riverdale star to change their hairstyle recently. Actress Camila Mendes also debuted a new hairdo, and we are living for it. Her stylist, Matt Rez, shared the new look to his Instagram on Monday, April 15.
Camila, 24, dyed her hair a little lighter and gave it a chop! And it looks great, if you ask us.
“@CamiMendes is back to her roots! Taking out layers of blue black that we have been doing for her character Veronica Lodge on Riverdale was a 6 hour process to keep the integrity of her hair,” Matt wrote. “Taking extreme care to be gentle and using the highest grade color products is key!”
Both Camila and Cole are rocking their new looks.
