If you haven’t already seen Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson‘s new movie, Five Feet Apart — well, you better grab some tissues and head to the theater ASAP. The touching film follows the journey of Will and Stella, two teenagers with cystic fibrosis who fall in love. Cole’s character, Will, uses his artwork not only to express himself while feeling alone — but he also draws cartoons to flirt with his crush, Stella. Cole sat down with artist Caesar Meadows, who is the cartoon mastermind behind all of Will’s incredible artwork within the movie.

“Your work stood out to me because for Will, as a character, it was something that he could do while very isolated inside his hospital room,” Cole explained.

Check out the video above to watch Cole and Caesar sit down to chat about the importance of Will’s artwork in the movie.
