Great news, Coop & Cami Ask The World fans! The Disney Channel live-action comedy series just got renewed for Season 2, and we couldn’t be more excited! While we don’t have a premiere date quite yet, we do know filming will begin in the coming months.
The first season of the show premiered on October 18, 2018, and now, we’re set to get a whole new batch of episodes! In case you’re not familiar with the show, let us fill you in! The show follows the story of two middle schooler siblings whose main source of getting advice is by asking their millions of online followers on Coop’s channel, Would You Wrather. And yes, it’s quite hilarious.
Naturally, the whole cast will be back for the second season! Dakota Lotus and Ruby Rose Turner star as Coop and Cami Wrather — with Olivia Sanabia starring as older sibling Charlotte. And of course, there’s also their best friend Fred (Albert Tsai) and younger brother Ollie (Paxton Booth). Talk about an amazing cast!
If you’re excited for Season 2, just think about how the cast must feel! Ruby Rose took to social media to share the news and express her excitement with fans. “season 2 !!!!!” the 13-year-old actress shared on Twitter. As for Dakota, the 14-year-old Disney star tweeted, “So excited !”
Best part? There’s also more content coming to Disney Channel’s IGTV. Yep, that’s right. Ruby Rose will also be joined by her castmates (and her real-life family!) on Instagram in Disney Channel’s first IGTV series ever. The series is called Ruby’s Gems, and a new episode will be posted every Saturday, from February 23 to March 9. It’s essentially going to be like a vlog, showing a bunch of behind-the-scenes footage. We can’t wait!
