From the looks of it, there’s no bad blood between exes Ethan Wacker and Olivia Rodrigo! For those who missed it, the Bizaardvark stars first confirmed their relationship back in January 2019, but fans were shocked when they seemingly split and went their separate ways a few months later. Although they aren’t together anymore, the two former Disney Channel actors seemed to have remained friends, as proven by Olivia’s recent Instagram post, in which she congratulated Ethan on his college acceptance!

“Ahhhh I’m so proud! He’s the best!” the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actress wrote on her Instagram Stories on Monday, May 4.

She reposted Ethan’s Instagram post where he announced his plans to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, in the fall of 2020.

“So beyond excited to say I will be attending Vanderbilt University! Go Commodores!” the actor wrote. Congrats, Ethan!

As fans know, he’s not the only former Disney Channel star headed off to college! Yep, back in December 2019, Andi Mack alum Joshua Rush revealed his plans to take a break from acting and focus on his education this year. To celebrate his 18th birthday, the talented teen shared a screenshot of an official letter from New York University accepting him into the Gallatin School Of Individualized Studies. He also announced his decision to attend the university for the next four years with a selfie posted to Instagram. In the photo, he represented his choice of college by sporting a NYU sweatshirt.

“Got the merch to make it official!” he captioned the picture at the time. “I’m going to [New York University]!”

Prior to his acceptance, Joshua’s opened up to Teen Vogue about possibly quitting acting for a career in politics.

“I don’t have an answer to it, honestly,” he said, when asked which job he preferred. “I love them both, and I love the career that I’ve built for myself in L.A., and I also love what I’m building for myself right now in D.C. I don’t know where the future takes me, but I do want to study in college and learn everything that I can.”
