Sad news, Fuller House fans! Your favorite Netflix series is officially coming to an end with its upcoming fifth and final season.

In an emotional farewell video posted to YouTube, the streaming service shared the announcement along with clips of some of the best moments from the past four seasons. At the end of the video, clips of the cast appeared as they bid farewell to the show they called home for the last three or so years.

The good news? It seems Netflix is saving the best for last. How do we know? Well, because the stars of the series said it themselves! The first to appear in the video was Candace Cameron Bure, who reprised her role as DJ in the Full House spinoff.

The 42-year-old said, “We’re saving the best for last,” and Bob Saget, Soni Nicole Bringas, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin and several other members of the cast echoed that same sentiment. We’d totally be lying if we said we weren’t disappointed that the show is ending, but hey, at least we have something to look forward to, right?

While it’s unclear at the moment why the show is coming to an end, we do know that it definitely wasn’t Candace’s choice. In fact, she once told E! News that she would play the role of DJ forever if she could.

“Oh my goodness, I would play DJ Tanner for the rest of my life,” she told the outlet. “If the audience wanted it and the networks wanted it, I would do it forever. I love her. I love our Fuller House family, and we really are family off screen. The more I get to be with them every day, whether it’s working or just in everyday life friendship. It’s just incredible, so keep watching! Give us a season five!”

Well, she definitely got what she wanted. Season 5 will premiere on Netflix this coming fall, but we’re not sure what we’re going to do without the Tanners and the Giblers once we finish watching the series finale. Guess we’re just going to have to slow down on the binge-watching!
