Love is truly in the air for Hailee Steinfeld and now, she’s opened up about how falling head over heels for someone has changed her for the better. And since she’s been linked to Niall Horan for quite some time, with pics of the pair kissing and being cute AF emerging, along with eagle-eyed fans spotting the 21-year-old starlet at the “Slow Hands” singer’s concerts and out and about together, it’s safe to say the 25-year-old is the guy on her mind! And in her heart, and it’s honestly the cutest.
Opening up to Cosmo, the Bumblebee actress made it clear she didn’t want to talk about her boyfriend, but she did share some insight on love and how she knows she’s fallen in love.
“When you fall in love, you pick up on the tiniest things about yourself. I am one to spread out on the mattress and take up every inch of space. Now I don’t want to do that anymore. I want to make as much room for you as possible,” Hailee said. “You start doing things for this person and going out of your way to make them happy,” she added about falling for someone deeply for the very first time. “And when you see them happy, it makes you happier. When you love who you are with that person…there’s nothing that compares.”
Okay, can we just let that all sink in for a minute because it’s just the sweetest? You don’t just wear the merch of any guy you’re dating unless it’s the real deal.
And again, she didn’t mention Niall’s name, but c’mon now, these two have been keeping their love story under the radar, but girl is speaking from the heart here. It’s obvious he’s on her mind and we’re just crying now. Their mutual good bud Shawn Mendes even confirmed that yes, Niall and Hailee have been an item for a while now and they’re adorable together. So while the couple isn’t ready to openly and directly talk about their love story, these little breadcrumbs of insight into their relationship are enough to make our hearts burst.
