Former One Direction crooner Harry Styles has a brand-new look, and fans are freaking out! In a new photo that emerged online on Tuesday, September 15, the singer, 26, sported a side-swooped hairstyle that quickly became a topic of conversation among his fan base.

Shortly after the rare snap was uploaded to one of Harry’s fan accounts on Twitter, “HIS HAIR” became a worldwide trend on the social media site.

His hair … OMG … I’m a sobbing mess now,” one fan tweeted. Another added, “Yes, we are talking about Harry’s hair.”

A third person said, “Harry styles is so powerful, one pic of him and his hair is trending. Help.”

Some fans speculated that the new hairstyle was for his role in the Olivia Wilde-directed movie Don’t Worry Darling.

“If he’s growing his hair out so they can style it like this for the movie, then what?” a Twitter user wrote, alongside a photo of hairstyles from the 1950s — when the upcoming film is set to take place.

News hit the web that Harry would be heading back to big screen on Friday, September 11. Just when Directioners thought all hope of seeing the Fine Line crooner in another movie was totally lost, Deadline reported that Harry is set to replace Shia LaBeouf in the flick alongside actors Florence Pugh and Chris Pine. Although the plot has been kept under wraps, Don’t Worry Darling will be “set in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert.”

The curly-haired cutie’s casting news came weeks after rumors hit the web claiming that Harry was gearing up to star in Faster, Cheaper, Better with Brad Pitt. Despite speculation, Vanity Fair set the record straight and reported that the “Watermelon Sugar” singer would not appear in the movie. Brad’s reps then confirmed to ET Canada that these rumors were “false.”

As fans know, Harry first stepped onto the acting scene in 2017 when he starred as Alex in the Oscar-nominated World War II film Dunkirk.
