If you thought Riverdale was going to be the pinnacle of Lili Reinhart‘s acting career, think again. The actress was just cast in the movie Hustlers, which will star none other than — wait for it — Cardi B. Wait, what?
That’s right, you guys! According to Deadline, the Riverdale star and the rapper have both signed on to be part of the film, which was inspired by a 2016 New York magazine article about employees who “band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.”
Already, the film has an impressive cast, which includes Jennifer Lopez, Keke Palmer, Constance Wu, Julia Stiles and many more. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to watch these ladies kick some butt and prepare for the ultimate takedown.
By now, you’ve probably noticed that most of the women listed are seasoned actresses. However, Hustler will be 26-year-old Cardi’s acting debut. Interestingly enough, it’ll be her second collaboration with J.Lo, since they released the song “Dinero” together in May 2018.
Considering the stacked cast, you’re probably just as stoked for them to begin filming as we are — and don’t worry, it’s happening soon. According to the report, shooting will begin on March 22, which is just around the corner. And do you want to know the best part? Jennifer will be joining STXFilms and two additional producers that she previously worked with on Second Act to bring this story to the big screen. Ahh!

NGL, we’re totally intrigued by the cast so far and we cannot wait to see their on-screen chemistry for ourselves. Lili and Cardi might be strangers now, but who knows? Maybe they’re a match made in movie heaven!
