Is everything OK between Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart? Fans started to worry after Cole walked the red carpet at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday night by himself, especially since the couple is normally inseparable.
Not to mention that almost the entire rest of the Riverdale cast attended the star studded event. Camila Mendes and her boyfriend, Charles Melton, were there, and Madelaine Petsch also made an appearance. It was seriously a Riverdale reunion! But when Lili was nowhere to be seen, fans started to freak.
Instead, she was at home, eating ice cream in bed, which she revealed via her Instagram Stories.
“Here’s my Vanity Fair Oscar party look,” she captioned the snap.
So what gives? We investigated, and it turns out, everything is OK between our favorite Riverdale couple after all. Since the 22-year-old actress posted a pic of Charlie Brown laying in a hospital bed last week, it’s safe to say that that Lili was just sick!
Aw, we’re hoping she feels better soon! As fans of the blonde beauty know, she’s had a rough few weeks. Lili recently opened up about her mental health issues, and even revealed that she’s getting professional help for anxiety and depression.
“Friendly reminder for anyone who needs to hear it,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories on February 16. “Therapy is never something to feel ashamed of. Everyone can benefit from seeing a therapist. Doesn’t matter how old you are or how ‘proud’ you’re trying to be. We are all human and we all struggle. Don’t suffer in silence. Don’t feel embarrassed to ask for help.”
“I’m 22. I have anxiety and depression,” she added. “And today I started therapy again. And so the journey of self-love-begins for me. Good luck to you on yours.”
The Oscars afterparty was an important night for Cole. Why? Well, he finally met his brother Dylan‘s girlfriend, Barbara Palvin, for the very first time! We wish Lili could have been there, but obviously, health comes first.
