In case you’re living under a rock, Dylan Sprouse is currently dating model Barbara Palvin, and even though they’ve been together for quite some time now, she’s never met his brother Cole — that is, until they all attended the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty on Sunday, February 24.
That’s right, you guys! the 25-year-old supermodel just met Cole Sprouse for the first time ever, and the proof is in the pictures. Don’t believe us? Check out how stunning they look!
We know what you thinking: How could they have never met before? She’s dating his brother! Well, it’s true. How do we know? Because Barbara told W magazine all about it earlier this month.
“I still haven’t met his brother,” she told the mag.
We know, we’re just as shook as you are — especially because they’ve been together for several months already.
The former Disney Channel star and the model first sparked dating rumors in July 2018, but these days, things seem to be pretty serious between the two. In fact, the couple recently moved into a New York City apartment together, and she even shared a photo on Instagram to document the special moment.
She captioned the sweet photo by writing, “Two worms officially in the big apple.” Aw, so cute!
But wait, there’s more. In addition to moving in together, Dylan’s already met her parents twice. And by that, we mean he flew to Hungary to spend time with them and get to know them a little better.
“I wasn’t nervous to meet her parents, but the truth is that there is a language barrier, obviously,” he told W magazine. “Her mother speaks a very tiny bit [of English], and I am not proficient in Hungarian. I’m trying, but learning is definitely an overstatement.”
So how is it that Dylan has managed to cross oceans to meet her parents, but she was never able to meet Cole? Well, it’s an easy explanation, really. As we all know, Cole stars in Riverdale, and unfortunately, the series films in Vancouver, which means he’s busy working there most of the time. Combine that with the model’s hectic schedule and it’s sort of easy to understand how they’ve never found time to link up.
Luckily, the Vanity Fair Oscars party brought these three together once and for all, and from the looks of it, it seems like Dylan got his brother’s seal of approval. TBH, we knew he would. After all, Dylan and Barbara make a beautiful couple, so Cole would be crazy not to ship them together. Wouldn’t you agree?
