Our hearts are breaking for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. The couple’s dog, Waldo Picasso, unfortunately passed away on Wednesday, July 24, but the little guy will never be forgotten. The couple just got matching tattoos in his honor, and it’s seriously so touching.
Joe shared a snap of his new ink design on Monday, June 29.
“R.I.P. my little angel,” he captioned it.
The Jonas Brothers singer got the late puppy’s face permanently inked onto his lower right arm. Sophie, got a matching design on her upper right arm, which she shared on her Instagram Stories.
“I miss you, Waldo. Rest in peace my little baby,” she wrote.
According to reports the “Sucker” crooner and the 23-year-old Game of Thrones actress’ Alaskan Klee Kai passed away after he was hit by a car in New York City. The pup was reportedly being walked by their dog walker when it “got spooked by a pedestrian, broke free, ran into the street and was struck by a vehicle.” A rep for Joe called it “a freak accident.”
The couple reported the incident to police on Friday. It’s been reported that they delayed filing the report because they were so torn up that they had to go to a therapist after the incident. We can’t imagine the pain they’re in. We mean, an animal is like a family member. A pet can definitely become a huge part of your life, so we are so sorry for their loss.
The couple adopted the pooch back in April 2018. They have another dog, named Porky Basquiat, who joined the family in September 2017. Waldo and Porky were brothers.
Joe, 29, opened up about his dogs previously to People Magazine.
“They live a pretty fabulous life. They have probably traveled more than most of my friends,” he said, adding that Waldo and Porky have traveled to France, England, Canada, Amsterdam and all over America.
