Joey King is a brunette no more! Yep, that’s right. The Kissing Booth actress has traded her dark tresses for a blonde ‘do and, we are all about super glam hair makeover.
“I’m blonde now,” the actress wrote alongside the super chic photo she posted of her new look on Instagram.

This is definitely not the first time Joey has rocked lightly colored locks. Joey’s new honey blonde shade is giving us major throwback vibes, as the star actually had blonde hair in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody! The actress played the role of Emily in two 2006 episodes, titled “Day Care” and “Books and Birdhouses.” So while we are used to seeing her with a darker ‘do, she is actually going back to her lighter roots! Just look at how cute she was with her blonde hair as a kid. Too precious!

How adorable?! Well, it looks like Joey is seriously proving herself to be quite the hair chameleon, really keeping us on our toes with what look she will end up rocking next. If this particular look is for one of her upcoming roles, it wouldn’t be the most drastic hair change she’s made for a project. She actually shaved her head for the movie Wish I Was Here, which is available on Netflix now. She even said it was her favorite film she’s ever done!
And can we talk about the bangs? Everything about the star’s hair makeover really suits her quite well. Maybe she’ll keep this look for a while. Only time will tell!
