Get ready, Beliebers, because Justin Bieber is heading to the big screen. Yep, that’s right, the singer just announced that he’s starring in an upcoming animated movie called Cupid, and luckily, J-14 has all the deets!

So what exactly is the movie about? Well, it’s inspired by classical Greek mythology, and get this — it’s going to be a musical! Justin will voice the god of love in the new flick, and according to Deadline, the “Love Yourself” crooner’s character is “charismatic but headstrong” — which is no surprise considering he’s the offspring of Venus, the goddess of love, and Mars, the war deity. The 25-year-old shared the first look of his character to Instagram on Tuesday, November 12.

The production company behind the film, Mythos Studios, was created by Marvel Studios Founding Chairman David Maisel and Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun. The company is already working on two other animated feature projects at the moment — a movie called Fathom, which is about a superhero that lives undersea, and Soulfire, the saga of an orphaned boy who is heir to ancient magic.

As for Justin, this will be his first feature film. However, he has made past appearances in various TV shows over the years, including True Jackson, VPCSIThe Simpsons and more. He’s been pretty busy lately, and he announced back in October that he was going to drop a new album before Christmas. But there was one HUGE condition: he’s only releasing the album if one of his Instagram posts gets at least 20 million likes.

“Share it, like it, post in your story, I gotta see the demand,” the Canadian cutie wrote on Instagram. “Love you guys, pumped for it! I’m almost done but your support will make me move faster.”

No released date has been announced just yet for Cupid, but production is reportedly already underway! This movie is seriously going to be epic!
