Drop everything because one of Justin Bieber‘s new songs was just leaked. Yep, that’s right, his first solo song since 2015 is finally here! The tune is called “Don’t Go Far” and it’s very sweet. On Tuesday, December 3 the track was circulated to fans via social media and some have speculated that it was rejected from his upcoming album.
But what’s the song about? According to the lyrics, the love song is seemingly about his wife Hailey Baldwin. As fans know, the couple made their nuptials official, after a year of marriage, in a star-studded ceremony hosted at the luxurious Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina on September 20, 2019.
“Now that I made you mine, I gotta make sure you’re always mine / Where you going, don’t go far love, blessings sent to me that’s what you are love,” the lyrics read.
Although the 25-year-old didn’t release the song himself, fans still had nothing but positive feedback about the song and it made them even more excited for Justin’s upcoming album.
“Wait so apparently this song [got] rejected from JB5? Can y’all imagine how lit JB5 would be,” one fan wrote on Twitter alongside the since-deleted audio of the song. Another fan added, “And this is such a bop imagine JB5 OMG we are really not ready at all.”
The singer first had fans buzzing about new music back in October when he took to his Instagram and announced his plans to release a new album before Christmas only if he got 20 million likes on his post.
“If this gets 20 million likes, Justin Bieber will release an album before Christmas,” he wrote on October 27, 2019
Currently, the post has close to 12 million likes, so only a 8 million more to go before Wednesday, December 25. But not to worry because Justin’s manager Scooter Braun, seemingly confirmed that JB5 is coming in 2020 after a fan asked, “Sooo the new era? @justinbieber @scooterbraun?” and Scooter responded with “2020.”
