Rest in peace, Kobe Bryant. The entire world was left devastated when it was announced that the basketball star had passed away on Sunday, January 26, after his helicopter crashed. His 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant, was also on board and tragically passed away in the crash.
The LA Lakers player was 41 at the time of his death. Reports say that he was traveling in his private helicopter in Calabasas, CA when the aircraft allegedly went down and a fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, however, none of the nine passengers on board survived. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation as the story is developing. Kobe is survived by his wife, Vanessa Bryant, and their three other daughters, Natalia, Bianca and Capri.
